Line 15 Station AreasGrand Paris

Project Description
Line 15 is one of the new metro lines of Grand Paris. Eventually, this line will circle the Paris metropolitan area. Three sections—west, north, and northwest—were studied during the competition phase, with the northwest section ultimately entrusted to us for project management. The task involved accompanying the emerging infrastructure elements that punctuate the line every 800 meters.
These structures arise within a particularly dense urban fabric, typical of major metropolises. They provide opportunities to create plazas, squares, gardens, and parks, appearing like geological formations.
The metro line traverses the Parisian geological layer at an average depth of 40 meters. The project aims to reveal this geology, along with Paris’s geography, hydrography, and the ecologies of the Paris Basin, functioning as a land art initiative addressing the challenges of climate change.
