Crayères BreweryReims (51)

Project Description
In a magnificent 19th-century park in Reims, a brewery and its terrace have been established, serving as a place for growing aromatic herbs and culinary plants. Visitors can forage, taste, and inhale the fragrances. The plants grown here are those that end up on the plates. The brewery's kitchen is open, allowing guests to watch the chef work and pick the herbs and seasonings needed to prepare the dishes. The placement of this brewery invites reflection on the English-style park it slightly overlooks and the creation of its garden.
The garden is part of the overall project designed by interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon. Boxwood hedges form structures, define flowerbeds, and plant squares where visitors are encouraged to forage for herbs to enhance their meals.
