Ferme des Saules ParkLagny-sur-Marne (77)

Project Description
Along the Bicheret stream in Lagny-sur-Marne, the river and its overflow have preserved a wild nature untouched by urbanization. A river park is being created from this existing natural environment.
A large boardwalk runs along the stream, creating a dry promenade. A footbridge connects the Ferme des Saules - Willows Farm - to a nearby kayak club, forming a path through the lush riparian woodland.
The rest of the park is designed to channel the energy of nature over time, creating clearings and paths. Some areas of the park are mowed for recreational use, while others are cut to welcome various plants and insects, maintaining low vegetation. Some groves are left to regenerate naturally.
The park embraces the natural beauty of this water-rich land, emphasizing its strengths and its fragility.
